The Progeo Duke is built around a carbon monocoque frame that delivers a very direct, responsive ride. Progeo has removed most of the adjustment hardware found on conventional rigid chairs, keeping only the elements that genuinely affect balance and comfort in daily use. The result sits neatly between an adjustable rigid chair and a fully fixed carbon design.
When pushing, the Duke feels lively and efficient, with very little energy lost through the frame. Rear wheel height and backrest position can still be fine-tuned, but the overall geometry is intentionally fixed. One important consequence of this is the front frame design: the Duke is only available with a compact 90-degree bend. For many people this is ideal, but it does mean the chair won’t suit those who need their legs positioned further forward. That limitation is built into the frame and can’t be altered later.
Although adjustability is limited, the Duke is still built to your measurements. Seat width, depth, heights and backrest dimensions are set at build to create a close, balanced fit. Supportive backrests from Progeo’s AIR range, as well as selected third-party options, can be fitted without undermining the chair’s lightweight feel.
Component choices allow sensible personalisation without complicating the frame. The exposed carbon finish defines the Duke’s appearance, with optional colour accents available, though many users prefer to keep the look understated.
The Duke suits people who want the responsiveness of carbon without committing to a completely fixed chair. It’s not the right choice if you need non-standard leg positioning or expect to make significant geometry changes over time.
