The Q50R is a manually folding lithium powerchair designed to satisfy the part of the market who need long range, high reliability and high torque motors. This makes the chair great for heavier users too as it is capable of carrying users of us to 136kg. With a single clip release system the chair can be folded in a matter of seconds and with a teachable technique can be 'built' in seconds too.
With 12" solid drive wheels and 8" solid castor wheels the Q50 is able to traverse slopes of 8 degrees safely and is also capable of driving over dry grass and cobble stones. This powerchair does not compromise on sturdiness or range with the result that the frame weighs 37.5kg including the battery. This makes the Q50 an excellent choice in combination with a boot hoist and companies like Autochair will be able to supply and fit appropriate brackets to the frame.
