The Sunrise Medical Quickie Life and Life R wheelchairs are a Folding and Rigid version of a multi-adjustable mid-range active wheelchair. Both versions boast high modularity and various frame designs to accommodate a wide range of needs. With Castor Fork, Wheel, upholstery, wheel rim and hub colours to choose from as well as the frame colour, you can customise your wheelchair to be unique to you.
The most common prescription is for a Life R where we can take advantage of the different front frame options which are available as a fixed or swing-away front frame. The swing-away leg hangers make performing standing transfers safe and easy for those who have that ability with the added benefit of making the wheelchair easier to store too.
The Life is designed to provide additional seating capabilities to the other Quickie wheelchairs and as such is typically prescribed for the more complex clients. At it's price point you'll be hard pressed to find a chair that is as adaptable and functional while also being less than 12 kgs.
If you do not require the wealth of seating alterations or want a lightweight wheelchair that is still available with a folding frame consider the Neon2, Xenon2 or the Krypton F.
