The Sunrise Medical Empulse F55 is an easy to use power assisted system that will attach to most wheelchair designs form a rigid frame to a folding frame, a fixed front or a swing away model the F55 will be set to your desired wheelchair.
Using its brushless 15pkh 400 W motors with a lightweight lithium ion battery the F55 can reach a distance up to 25km with speeds of 3mph, 6mph and 9mph which makes it ideal for indoor and out. The F55 has a choice of two wheel sizes: 8.5" wheel for improved indoor maneuverability while still being excellent outdoors, and 14" wheel for better traction outdoors while still being nimble indoors.
The Empulse F55 is designed to fit every body, meaning that it can be perfectly set up to your chair. Thanks to the front mounting that is set on the front of your chair, the F55 can be easily and independently attach and detach.
The F55 comes with its one intuitive drive controls. The clear LCD display is made so you can easily monitor the speed, range or battery at any time of day or night. The throttle control is an easy press on the trigger, adjust speeds by simply changing the pressure on the trigger for easy maneuverability. If you ever find yourself in a sticky situation the forward and reverse control is an easy switch to make it hassle free. Cruise control will be great for longer journeys, set the speed you would like to go and done, this will keep you in a maintained speed until you say otherwise. Smooth braking is achieved by either a traditional disk brake or the all new electronic brake. A bright LED light on the front of the F55 will make sure there is enough visibility in all lighting conditions.
The Empulse F55 is great for transport with an easy flip-up sub frame and also being approved for transportation on aeroplanes and ships.
