The Rimini is our most popular custom-built Rise Recliner chair from the Repose range but as you'll see, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The Rimini features a waterfall backrest consisting of three luxuriously soft cushions you are supported evenly throughout the full length of your back to include your neck and head. Available in hundreds of different fabric colours alongside a multitude of different designs there are literally thousands of combinations available. Welcome to your own truly bespoke chair.
As you might expect with a Custom-Built chair we don't just order you a chair from stock. In fact, aside from the express range which are set aside for urgent cases, every single chair in the Repose range is built by hand to our specifications. Plus, they are built right here in the UK so you will be supporting both a local and national UK business.
No longer do you need to accept having to buy the 'perfect' chair which is in reality just a stock chair that is closest to your measurements. You can now get the chair you really want, in the dimensions you really need. In addition, you get to customise and accessorise your chair to your liking.
Do you read into the evenings as the light is fading? Why not include an over-the-head reading lamp. Do you get chilly in the evenings or in the winter? Why not include a heated seat and moveable heat pad with your chair. Or, do you find yourself getting stiff after long periods of sitting? Why not include a Relaxor Heat and Massage system. These and many more options are available to you including USB charging points, a rechargeable battery pack for remote chair positions and many fabric accessories such as arm caps, head pillows and seat covers.
One thing that's always been important to us here at Cinque Ports is transparency. Pricing is one aspect that is hard to be precise about as each chair is very different. Our approach has always been to provide free and no obligation assessments, following by a clearly itemised quotation with absolutely no hidden surprises. To give you a guide however it's worth knowing that the entry level Rimini with no accessories starts from £995 which includes assessment, delivery and disposal if required. For a custom built chair we think this is exceptionally good value, especially considering this is £200 cheaper than our most expensive 'stock' variant in the Drive Medical range.
Repose Seating - the manufacturers - offer a large range of standard Rise Recliners, with each model differing from the last by the style of back. For the full range of Rise Recliners for the home please see here: https://www.reposefurniture.co.uk/
Take a good look through their chair options including the different seating mechanisms available, fabric options, accessories and features then give us a ring on 01303 850760 for assessments, advice or quotations. We are currently only able to serve those in the county of Kent including the Weald and Bromley.

Rise Recliners serve more of a purpose than just providing you with a place to sit, and with our thirty years of experience in prescribing custom wheelchairs and powerchairs we're very well placed to impart our clinical excellence into this arena.
If you or a loved one require support either posturally or for clinical reasons relating to pressure risk then rest assured that all of our assessments include a pressure and posture overview.
We are fully trained against NHS Guidelines through our work with Invacare who specialise in pressure cushions and pressure management wheelchairs.
For low to medium risk pressure concerns it is likely we'll recommend elevating the risk management capability of the chair by including a different style of cushion. Don't worry, it will still look the same from the outside but beneath the fabric will be a graded pressure management system - either foam, gel or dynamic air.
For high and very high risk pressure concerns our recommendations may be to forgo a 'home' style chair and instead consider a pressure management chair such as the Multi C-Air. There are many variants available with each one offering different forms of pressure management, physical support and adaptability if needs change through time. But don't worry, following a free assessment we'll be able to help you identify what's most important both for now and the future.
In terms of posture management, which relates to keeping your trunk upright and supported and your pelvis in-line and even where possible, we will explore firstly different styles of backrest and cushion from within the homecare range. Should we feel you require additional support we may then recommend a pressure management chair which gives us access to hardware such as lateral supports.
For more information about pressure risk and pressure risk factors please see the latest guidance from the NHS.
If you are a Care Home manager please note we offer a discounted package of chairs to manage a group of clients currently in need, or can assist you in setting up a risk-based portfolio of chairs to manage current and any possible future requirements. These chairs feature vapour-permeable materials with anti-microbial properties, adaptability if the soft surfaces need changing in the future, 5 year warranties on all fabrics and chairs themselves plus much more.
